July 23, 2007, the Draft Project of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health exhibition was opened at the Big Hall of the Ukrainian House in Kyiv.
In the four days, till July 26, everybody will get a chance to see the projects submitted to the contest to select general designer of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health, the Children’s Hospital of the Future. The exhibition will be open from 10:00 am till 6:00 pm, admission free.
Seven projects take part in the contest. The contest proposals were opened July 20, 2007.
July 25-26, the designs and their consistence with medical task proposals will be considered by the Contest Committee, whose members are globally renowned architects and medical workers from Europe, North America, and CIS countries. The contest procedure will be independently observed by the Contest’s Supervisory Board whose members are representatives of the Pediatrists’ Association of Ukraine, Notary Chamber, and Lawyers Association of Ukraine.
July 26, the winner of the contest to select general designer of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health, the Children’s Hospital of the Future. The Contest Committee will select three best proposals of all submitted. The supreme governing body of the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Fund, the Conference, will thoroughly consider the commercial part of the proposal. The company whose proposal will satisfy the Conference delegates in these terms, will be announced the winner.
Recall that the contest to select general designer of the All-Ukrainian Center to Protect Mothers’ and Children’s Health, the Children’s Hospital of the Future was announced May 21, 2007. The contest was held on a closed basis. The Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Fund ordered a monitoring of global and national architectural and design organizations, forming a list of 50 companies from throughout the world. All these companies were sent an invitation to take part in the contest. Around 20 responses came from companies, who had later received a complete set of Contest Documentation. The start of the final part of the Contest was announced July 18 at a press conference held by the Children’s Hospital of the Future Charitable Fund at the UNIAN Informational Agency.
