On October 26, James Temerty, a distinguished Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist, Founding Chairman of the National Advisory Council for the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, visited the Medical Center NOVO in Lviv.
Director of the NOVO Medical Center Nataliya Klymovych, center’s Chairman of the Supervisory Board and President of the Association of Charities of Ukraine Oleksandr Maksymchuk, member of the center’s Supervisory Board Andriy Ionov, Chief Physician of the Lviv City Municipal Children’s Hospital Dmytro Kvit, Parish Rector at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Montreal Ihor Kutash and Stepan Stasiuk, Deputy Chairman of the Lviv Association in Kiev, accompanied Mr. Temerty on his visit. The visitors took a tour of the center and got a comprehensive explanation of its facilities and services.
Mr. Temerty gave positive feedback, expressing his high appreciation of the advanced technical facilities and his confidence that the center has everything it takes to take good care of the patients’ needs. The honorable guest wished success to the center’s medical staff.
James Temerty is the chief benefactor of the Children’s Hospital of the Future. In 2007, he donated $ 1 million to the hospital’s charitable fund.
